Zhejiang Yinfeng Automation Technology Co., Ltd.'s Current Production Capacity Challenges Due to Sudden Order Surges
2021-07-13
The hot summer days have arrived as expected in the second half of the year. Typically, high temperatures lead to even lower production capacity at key manufacturing stages. As a result, many new orders with strict deadlines are now being abandoned, while those with sufficient lead time can still be fulfilled as planned. Unfortunately, there’s little else we can do for now. We sincerely hope these scorching days will pass quickly, and we’re working hard to accelerate construction progress at our new facility, aiming to boost soon and get everything back to normal. Finally, we’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our Yinfeng customers for your continued support and patience during this challenging period.
For YinFeng Automation Technology Co., Ltd., the past six months have been nothing short of a turbulent and challenging period. Both sales and production have faced significant hurdles: nearly 99.9% of the equipment sold has experienced delivery delays—delays that aren’t just a day or two, but often stretch well beyond one month, with some orders even pushed back by as long as three months. On the production side, employees have been working overtime every single day, including weekends, to keep up with demand. Yet despite these relentless efforts, the factory’s capacity remains limited—despite daily extra shifts, output has barely climbed above 150 units per month. Unfortunately, delays in procuring critical components have left many machines unfinished, forcing the company to pile up large quantities of semi-finished products. As a result, actual monthly production capacity has plummeted to just 100 finished units—far below the original target of over 100 units per month. Meanwhile, customer orders continue to pour in, with monthly demands regularly exceeding 200 units or more. This glaring mismatch between supply and demand has left the company scrambling to meet deadlines, ultimately forcing it to extend delivery times significantly across all product lines. The result? A frustrating cycle of delays that leaves both sales teams and production staff stretched thin—and, most critically, leaves customers anxiously waiting for their much-needed equipment.
